Christmas & dates for the diary

Am I organised for Christmas? No! When have I ever been but this year I did prioritise a couple of things that needed doing first.

1. Finished a quilt top and it's now at the quilters. I'll try to remember to take a photo before it's wrapped and gifted to show you in the New Year.

2. Had a lovely time redecorating the Santa Ornament. The plan is to post them off Monday for surprise gifts.

 

 

With those two items ticked off it's back to planning a Make & Take project for

My head is spinning with ideas! Something that can be close to finished in 50 minutes and easy for me to prep.

 

Last Pop up shop for 2024

 Saturday 7 December 10am - 1 pm

 The address is Suite 4/611 Dean Street.

(Situated in the block between Townsend and Kiewa Street.

The pedestrian crossing leads straight to the front doors.)

 Suite 4 is at the end of the corridor.

New Purse & Pincushion patterns

At last I can reveal the second project from the Stitch in Spring Day,  a felt appliqued purse.

 

I used the Sprout Woven fabric and cross hatched it prior to appliqueing the flowers in place.

DMC Stranded Embroidery thread was used to whip stitch the majority of pieces in place and Aurifil 12wt thread to embellish.

The girls attending the Stitch in Spring Day used a variety of different threads, with Bron using a lovely variegated wool thread.

I'm still sorting out the front door. The door may not push open on the weekend.
