This year's cover has a cute little stitchery that doubles as a pen pocket. A handy addition that guarantees I will always have a pen on hand.

Sew Some Joy

 

I'm excited to announce the Sew Some Joy Christmas Club.

It’s all about

making gifts and decorating your home for Christmas.

 

A variety of techniques will be offered, some stitching, a little felt appliqué and machine piecing.

 

Santa & Friends is the first mail out.

I've chosen these tags as the first mail out because they make great gifts.

And I know, though I never do, it's best to start making the Christmas gifts sooner rather than later. 

 

Club Details

The cost of the club is $85 for five patterns and includes postage. It does not include materials. 

Kits will be available to purchase separately. Prices will vary per project.

You also receive an email newsletter with useful tips and information.

The club commences in May and runs for five months. A pattern will be mailed out the first week of May, June, July, August & September.

You may opt to pay the club in full $85 or in two instalments, $45 at the time of booking and the balance $40 the first week of July. A separate invoice will be sent at the end of June.

Santa & Friends Kit

The kit for Santa & Friends is $15.

The kit includes the fabrics, felt, ribbon, iron-on-pellon and cardboard to make the Santa, Deer & Snowman tags. Threads not included.

Please email me to order the kit before the end of April. A separate PayPal invoice will be sent. The kit will be posted with the pattern.

 

The Sew Some Joy (first picture) is a set of six stitcheries. This pattern will be mailed out in July.

 

Easter- my favourite holiday

 

 

Since AQC was postponed until August, I won't be stuck indoors, cutting fabrics, packing kits, folding patterns and checking lists.

I can potter around doing whatever pleases me this Easter.

The weather's looking perfect for gardening or sitting outside with a book or stitching.

The thought of all the possibilities is so exciting!

 

My plans include.......

Playing with these gorgeous frames I found at Camera House, Albury.

I love the detail and was only going to buy the large white frame, when I spotted the smaller mist coloured one. It was impossible to choose a favourite!

Yes, I will admit to being slightly obsessed with frames.

 

a new dilly bag

I have in mind to start/make myself a new sewing bag. It could take the whole weekend to choose the fabrics. I think I only need three fabrics plus the lining. So wish me luck narrowing down my choice from these!
