I've been on a steep learning curve this past week putting together a tutorial for Glove Stitch. Even though I had given it thought, researched the easiest software for me to use to stitch all the short clips together I had totally underestimated how difficult it would be to talk, stitch and keep my hands in the just the right spot. I learnt, when I replayed the first attempt, that I was talking gibberish and needed to give the dialogue a lot more thought. I wrote out a script, three short sentences to start with and still managed to jumble up the dialogue. I've learnt heaps not only about how difficult it is to make a video but about Glove Stitch itself. It is one of my most frequently used stitches and putting words to the steps has given me a knew level of understanding.
Glove stitch is this lovely decorative stitch I use to sew covered pieces of cardboard together.
If you've always wanted to know how to do Glove Stitch here is the video.
I hope it helps.
I also have a quick reference for Glove Stitch you can download, print and have on hand.
