Saturdays class was abuzz with ideas and plans for all things cushion.
Gabbi started the ball rolling by showing off the cushion cover from the last class. You'd never know Gabbi is is a blue girl - red must be catching.
With three designs in the one pattern, the first thing the girls had to decide was which one to make. Gabbi and Ros made the strippy cushions, while Else and Kerry chose the applique cushion.
Glynis was making a cushion for her young daughter and planned to applique a flower in the centre.
It's great fun watching the girls put their fabrics together and sometimes I get to help!
If time permits I like to remake things using a different technique before the class.
I was eager to make the applique cushion using the raw edged technique. This was lots of fun and a chance to play with my stash.
