pretty pastels - new fabrics & buttons

These ever so pretty fabrics arrived this week and all I can think is Easter.

 These fabrics are from the range 'Ambleside' and I can't wait to start sewing with them.

 

Priced at $22 per metre or $3.00 for a Fat 1/8.

Barb has been busy painting the Love Bunny buttons in soft pink, blue & green. They arrived a few days before the fabric and look how well they go together. You'd think I'd planned this but I didn't!

The buttons are $5.50 each.

 

I haven't had a chance to load them onto my store. If you have to have any or all of them, you can email me your order.

cushion club March class

There has been so much on I'm struggling to keep up to date posting about it all.

Last Saturday, the second group of girls started cushion club.

I like how both girls changed the emphasis on the fabrics. Deb's highlights the border and Mairi's the main fabric.

 

Bronwyn used a border print. It looks lovely and was definitely quicker.

 

This is a selection of what I've been working on for the club, only one more to make and the design work will be finished.

Easter Bunnies

There I was last Thursday wondering what I could stitch for Easter when I remembered my Make Merry - Bunny. It was so easy, simply swap the star with a flower and use pretty pastel coloured felts.

Trunkshow at Skellywags

It's all happening next Wednesday. I've been invited to Sit & Sew at Skellywags for a Trunkshow. I'll be packing as much as possible into a suitcase or two for show & tell.

If you haven't been to Sit & Sew, you'll be made to feel very welcome by Jan & Shelley and their sewing friends.
