Towards the end of a year I am overcome with a desire to 'finish things off'. I figure I'm not the only one who feels like this. Often all I need is a little push in the right direction to do this. This inspired the idea for 'Finishing School'; a chance to bring along unfinished projects, unopened kits or make up for a missed class.
To start off we always have show and tell.
I was amazed at how industrious Kerry's been. How gorgeous do all the Sew Vintage bags look. It made me want to come home and sew sew sew!
Cate and Else made their bags at School.
Sue came prepared with seven or eight So Handy Pouches cut out and sewed them together.
The inset picture, is the pouch Sue made for herself. Sue used the same fabrics throughout the Little Treasures Club for a matching sewing set.
Jan & Helen, made a start on their Christmas presents with the Joyful - tree bags while Kerry made a good start on the No Peeking kits purchased two Christmas workshops ago.
Finishing school will be held again on Sunday 18 January. To book a place, please contact Kay or Sharon at Avonleigh Country Quilting.
