This year's red & white quilt was started a few weeks ago. I was so excited and quickly made these blocks. At this rate I'd have the top finished in next to no time!
And then nothing. I'm not sure what happened, I simply stopped. Whatever it was it killed the spark and I haven't been able to rekindle it.
So what to do. Well start a new project of course!
It was going to be half red half pink, but looks like it will be more pink. There's one rule - the fabrics must be from my stash. I've found scraps of old favourites, made some discoveries and reacquainted myself with others. Fabrics I have been 'saving' will go into this quilt. It's going to be a lovely mix of old and new fabrics and provides the perfect opportunity to reduce my stash.
I love the red and white together. Sometimes it is hard to stay on one project at a time. I find I flit between several at any given time depending on my mood.

Hi Marg, just go with the flow. Listen to your creative instincts. No room for rational thought here! Your colour choices are gorgeous as always. Take care.
