It's been many years since I've been inside the Royal Exhibition Building. So long in fact its best if I don't try and work it out. So I was pretty excited about the AQC as I'd have an opportunity to look at this lovely old building up close again.
The past few days have flown past, just as they would if you were on holidays. And it did feel like a holiday, being at a lovely venue, surrounded by gorgeous displays and dining out in Lygon street each night. I could get quite used to it, especially the no cooking bit!
Some of the samples I had on display.
A big thank you to the Blue Willow Cottage girls, Rhonda and Chrissie for making me feel so at home on their stand.
It was wonderful finally putting so many names and faces together. So good to finally catch up with Lorraine. The timing has never been right when I've been in Adelaide.
There was no way I could go past this shop without taking a peek inside.
I love hot cross buns at Eastertime, but so far have managed to avoid purchasing the bakery kind. These ones were impossible to resist.
These were very yum!!
It was so nice to meet you at last, Marg. And I loved the little project you designed for us. I'm glad you had a good time; hope Azzy didn't miss you too much.

Glad to see that it was not all work, work work. It was lovely to see you and I have finished my little trinket and am pleased with the results.

What a body of work your samples represent! I was sorry to miss you, but despite living in Melbourne now I just couldn't work it out to get there. It sounds like you had a wonderful time!
