On Saturday I bumped into Michele at Avonleigh.
Michele had the 4th Red Club quilt with her and I just had to take a picture. Unfortunately the photo does not do it justice. I love the paisley print for the borders and the grey prints in the blocks.
A recent purchase at the local trash and treasure market. I ummed and aahed over it for a while trying to decide if I liked it or not. Mind you it was clutched in my hand the whole time in case anyone else was interested. It was sooo expensive at $5. What was there to think about?
Those little nine patches look so comfortable surrounded by that gorgeous paisley. It is a lovely finish. Your cup and saucer must be one of a kind, I think it almost has your name on it so you had to buy it, of course!

Marg I am loving your red club projects...always fun to get together at the Patchwork Apple. the cup and saucer is very cute and a bargain as well.......I still have some of my "cute stuff" packed away from when I moved recently - and there is still plenty of it out on show..LOL

I really love red club no. 4! I am off to do it on Friday! Can't wait! The cup and saucer is a cute buy. It is good to question every cute purchase I think. If we bought every cute thing we saw our homes would be bursting at the seams. (Speaking from experience here!)

Marg your cup and saucer is so sweet..no wonder you couldn't put it down! Love the little quilt too...but it reminds me of how remiss I've been with mine.
