The weekend came and went so quickly. All the preparations, the anticipation mixed with a little trepidation; would I make my flights, and it was over in the blink of an eye - probably not quite that quickly but it certainly feels like it today. Saturday was a gorgeous cool day - the first day in months for me where it was below 20 C, a very pleasant change.
Here are my projects. Journal covers, bookmarks and a key tag. You've already had some sneak peeks over the past couple of months. I can't help myself, I always have to have a couple of little projects that can be completed on the day entirely by hand.
Finished bookmarks, using Theodora Cleave's Hollyhock button. Jo went home with a completed project too. So nice not to have another UFO in the cupboard.
And the second project. A bag to slip your book into with a matching bookmark. A good book and lovely accessories, what more could a girl want (OK, a little chocolate too).
The girls who made the day so enjoyable.
Thank you to Deirdre and Leonie for organising such a fabulous day and Gail for helping my with the flights.
