I do realise it seems a little early in the year to be mentioning Christmas but it's the best time of the year to make a start. It gives you a chance to try out new patterns and decide if they're the quickest and easiest to make multiples of, plus you can keep the first one without feeling guilty since you have the rest of the year to make more! Something I do, then realise its mid December and timewise impossible to do. I make a commitment to myself every year to be more organised but it never happens. And that's why many of my patterns are so achievable, they've been designed by Marg for Marg to make with only a few hours to spare.
The first Christmas project is Festive Star Runners. Two small runners, ideal for using up fabrics from the stash.
And you don't have to just make them for Christmas, I have one in red white and blue and leave it out all year except at Christmas time.
Here are the runners made by the girls attending the Christmas Club at Avonleigh. Listening to their comments, there are plans to make more for gifts. And Jo's been productive too, pop along to her blog and see how she spent labour day. Very impressed!
I really enjoyed last Saturday, I have already made another runner to give to a friend this weekend.

Hi Marg,
Your pattern has arrived in Luxembourg! I'm so happy to make it and will send you a picture as soon as finished!
Thank you for this wonderful idea! Best regards

Your projects are great, I love doing them in between huge projects so I feel like I've achieved something!
